Muhammad Mujahid Nabi

At Batley Law, I am a dedicated Conveyancing Trainee Solicitor, dealing with all residential conveyancing matters with a particular focus on sales and purchases. I help introduce new and potential clients to our Firm and our Values, ensuring that they are met with high quality customer satisfaction and communication. I work closely with clients and estate agents in ensuring that all matters are progressing efficiently and that all parties remain updated within the process.

What I love most about my job is the invaluable relations that are created from it, whether this is my colleagues in the office, the clients, the estate agents, the lenders or even the solicitors on the other side of my cases. By forming these relations and establishing trust and understanding between one and other, it allows us all to complete our work/goals efficiently.

My clients can expect from me a commitment to upholding high standards of service and trusted expertise towards them and their transaction. I understand the conveyancing procedure and the importance it holds to clients (especially first time clients!). I aim to work closely with the clients throughout the journey to ensure that they receive the service they deserve and that every transaction is completed to a high standard.

Away from the office I am active in my local community. I have worked with charities and local mosques to raise money for the community by fundraising with events/fundays and also by combining my passion of hiking and charity, completing hikes such as Mount Snowden, Scaffell Pike and Ingleton Falls. On a weekday you will likely find me either playing sports or at the gym – all which help me maintain a healthy balance between my mind and body which allows me to continue providing you the best service I can.

The achievement I am most proud of is being where I am today. I believe every step of your journey takes you to a destination which is a result of all your hard work and knowledge that you develop. Qualifying from University to actually practising what I enjoy has been great.

An example of a case where I felt I made a real difference was supporting an elderly couple on their sale and purchase something they had not done for over 30 years! They were very nervous, but I reassured them at every step, keeping them updated and informed and even had the chance of meeting them in person. By the end they felt confident in their decisions and were extremely happy with their service and completions, with completion occurring weeks earlier than they were expecting it to be. A clients happiness at the end of their transaction is something that makes me feel I made a difference in their journey through one of the biggest moment/s in their life.
